Pectel Wins Contract with the BBC

13 July 2010

Pectel, a division of Keltbray, has won the contract to provide Asbestos Management & Removal Services to the BBC's property portfolio in the UK. The eleven month contract, with an option to extend, will cover over 200 premises and assets.

Pectel was selected as preferred supplier following a rigorous selection process which involved all of Pectel’s main competitors, involving a three-month assessment period. Pectel’s practical knowledge, technological innovation and business support services combined to create a custom-made solution for the BBC, which addressed its customer service requirements and critical broadcast continuity.

Robert Blackburn, Managing Director of Pectel said: "The BBC is an iconic organisation and we are proud to be named as its preferred supplier for asbestos removal. Our ability to listen and respond creatively to the brief, uniquely positioned us to design a compelling solution for delivery across the BBC portfolio; the contract will benefit from some of the best minds in the industry."
