Supply and demand

We believe all our suppliers must meet the standards to meet the quality of delivery our clients rightly demand.

To this end, our Supply Chain Programme helps us to share best practice and work in effective partnership with our strategic suppliers to improve delivery, quality, cost and management systems while reducing waste. We benefit too since this approach attracts high performance suppliers.

We have already started to involve key suppliers in the Incident and Injury Free programme to improve behavior and safety. An internal Supplier Development Working Team is also being created and formal recognition is given for high performing suppliers via the Supply Chain Excellence awards.

It is our intention for our Business Development Director to meet with each preferred supplier on a six-monthly basis to discuss best practice and review progress.
