Keltbray Training is a provider of development services for the Group’s nearly 1,000 employees and many more of its external clients within the Rail, Demolition and Civil Engineering and Asbestos sectors.
As a skills centre, much like adult colleges, the Training Department is subject to regular Ofsted inspections to ensure competency. It recently passed its first inspection with flying colours by achieving an overall ‘good’ rating with Michael Hudson commending the Department’s innovative training methods.
Keltbray’s 18-strong Training team is headed up by Holly Price and is this year is on target to deliver 36,500 hours’ worth of training and assessments, and has three permanent training centres across the UK. Each centre covers a different specialism, as well as the standard training courses required on the railway infrastructure and construction. These include Permanent Way, Overhead Line Electrification and Installation, Demolition and Asbestos Removal.
Training is flexible, and can also be given at the centres, or at client premises or sites.
