Project Manager at Victoria Nova in London, Mick Kelly, has been named Demolition Manager of the Year at this year’s National Federation of Demolition Contractor’s (NFDC) Demolition Awards.

The award was presented by President of the UK’s Institute of Demolition Engineers, Steve Jack, and was won by Mick in competition with seven other strong shortlisted candidates.

Keltbray’s Operations Director, Jim O’Sullivan, has worked alongside Mick for the past nine years and said about the win: “Mick is a very worthy winner of this award. He has been a manager with Keltbray for 15 years, and has a fantastic attitude to work. He is passionate about demolition and has progressed through the ranks, proving himself at every stage.

“He is now a manager responsible for the delivery of one of Keltbray’s most prestigious project at Nova Victoria. He combines his exceptional knowledge and experience with excellent people skills. This has allowed him to develop a strong team which trusts and respects him. Mick is professional and cares deeply about his reputation and that of Keltbray. He is also well liked by our clients, who trust his ability.”
