As part of Keltbray’s pledge to donate 100 days towards volunteering for good causes, 12 Keltbray employees did their best to turn Kingston green for Macmillan Cancer Support on 13 May.
In total, they raised £1517. This is a fantastic result, and enough to provide training for more than 2,000 new Macmillan volunteers, or to pay for a Macmillan nurse for a whole week.
Big thanks go to the employees who did the collections in Kingston (and got both cold and wet in the process!), to those who baked cakes for the sale in Esher and to all of those generous people who supported the fundraising efforts and gave so generously, and helped us more than double last year’s £600 collection by another local company.
You can still support our efforts by donating via text KLTB82 £2 to 70070
or online via http://www.justgiving.com/KeltbrayMacMillan
PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY!
How your donations help:
£15 – pays for 28 copies of The Cancer Guide
£22 – pays for the training of 30 volunteers
£203 – pays for a Macmillan nurse for a day
