London 19 April 2017: Keltbray Demolition & Civil Engineering has secured a second Gold Award by the City of London’s Considerate Contractor Scheme’s judging panel for its performance at Bartholomew Close, where Keltbray has been engaged by Helical Bar since 2014 to demolish a complex of 19 buildings to make way for a 236-home development.

The fact that this Gold is being awarded to Keltbray for its works on this site for the second year running is a tremendous achievement and great credit to the team, which is currently working on the third and final phase of the works that are due for completion in September this year.

“The Gold Award recognises that the requirements of the Code of Good Practice have been consistently exceeded. It reflects a spirit of pride, an awareness of the needs of the passing public and regard for the surrounding environment, and recognises the overall performance of all personnel working on behalf of Keltbray during the past year at the site,” explained Director of The City’s Department for the Built Environment, Carolyn Dwyer.

The award will be presented at a ceremony on Friday 19 May, and we congratulate Keltbray’s Project Manager, Michael Devaney and his team.
