Esher 30 September 2017: Keltbray Group, which is a UK leading specialist business that offers engineering, construction, demolition, decommissioning, remediation, rail, environmental services and reinforced concrete frame solutions, has been ranked 45th (up 17 places from last year’s 62nd ranking) in the annual Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table. This means Keltbray has now broken into the top 50 private mid-market growth companies in Britain for the first time.
This improved ranking follows Keltbray’s expansion into reinforced concrete structures and a 36% increase in turnover for the financial year ending 31 October 2016. About Keltbray’s improved ranking Group Chief Executive, Brendan Kerr said: “Keltbray and many other privately held, mid-market companies like us are the backbone of the British economy and key to the future growth of our country post Brexit.
“Our improved ranking is a reflection of our sustainable growth in terms of turnover, operating margins and working capital, and proves that financial stability combined with a continued strengthening of our capability and services portfolio, has been a recipe for success.
“But resting on our laurels is not an option, and in a tough market that is currently full of uncertainty, it is important that we keep on evolving and improving as a business by developing our people, and investing in equipment and innovation.”
The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table ranks Britain’s private mid-market growth companies with the biggest sales and is compiled by Fast Track; an Oxford-based research company.
