Esher, UK, 12th January 2021: Keltbray, a leading UK specialist engineering business, today announces the appointment of Jason Gibbons as Commercial Director for its Built Environment division. Mr Gibbons has extensive experience in the construction industry, having fulfilled a variety of commercial leadership roles for over 30 years in the sector at organisations including Ernest Ireland (Mowlem), Sir Robert McAlpine and most recently, Multiplex.
Mr Gibbons is a chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS), has an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution, and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
Mr Gibbons will work closely with Michael O’Hagan, Managing Director for Built Environment at Keltbray, and will have a direct reporting line into Peter Suchy, Group Commercial Director.
Mr Gibbons brings commercial leadership specifically to the Built Environment and will form a close functional relationship with Rob Smith, who holds an equivalent role in the Infrastructure division; as part of the company’s ‘One Keltbray’ strategy to strengthen the rigor applied to both its pre-construction and awarded contracts’ commercial and operational activities.
