Keltbray has today announced the appointment of Craig Moorfield as its new Group Technical Director and Executive Board Member, commencing Monday 16th August, and reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer, Darren James.

Sustainable, specialist and innovative engineering services are core to Keltbray’s  strategy and in this newly created role, Mr Moorfield, working with his Executive Board colleagues, will lead the Group’s performance in engineering, research and development and innovation. He will also take responsibility for the corresponding technical and engineering assurance across the group, providing clients and key stakeholders with confidence in the sustainability of our solutions.

Mr Moorfield was previously Head of Engineering for Multiplex Europe and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from working across Keltbray’s core built environment and infrastructure markets. He has been involved in the design and construction of commercial and high rise buildings, stadia, and airports across Australia, the Middle East and Europe and has led the development of cutting edge construction methodologies and analysis techniques for implementation on some of the world’s most high-profile projects.

Commenting on the appointment, Group Chief Executive of Keltbray, Darren James said, “We are delighted that Craig has chosen to join us and help lead the next stage of Keltbray’s engineering development.  Craig’s appointment is hard-wired to fulfilling Keltbray’s core purpose – “To redefine the way sustainable development is delivered”.

“He has an industry reputation as a leading technical expert in the sustainable design and delivery of complex buildings and infrastructure, and his appointment marks a step change in our engineering ambitions.

“He will play a creative role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to meet our clients’ diverse needs.  His experience of successfully developing cutting-edge ideas will greatly benefit the Group as we evolve our strategic focus towards expanding the opportunities to deploy our integrated self-delivery model in existing and new markets.”

Commenting on his new role, Craig Moorfield said, “I am thrilled to be joining Keltbray at such an exciting point in its development.  I genuinely believe it has the strategic focus, the resources and most importantly, the right talent to lead the specialist engineering and construction industry, setting the standards by which all other organisations in the sector will be measured.”
