Keltbray, a leading UK specialist engineering business, today announces that Holly Price, currently Skills and Communities Director, is being promoted to the newly created role of Group Sustainability Director with immediate effect, reporting to Main Board Director and Chief Operating Officer, Vince Corrigan.

This appointment further supports Keltbray’s core purpose to redefine the way sustainable development is delivered, and will accelerate the Group’s plans to become a more sustainable and responsible business.

Holly is an experienced and respected industry professional, and she will lead the dedicated Group Sustainability function, taking responsibility for the implementation of Keltbray’s published targets in this critical arena for business.

The role’s main areas of focus cover:

  • Building on the existing sustainability strategy to continue to bring the UN Sustainability Goals to life across Keltbray by finding new, greener, more innovative solutions to support its customers
  • Environmental Sustainability – will continue to be led by Kiro Tamer, now reporting to Holly. Kiro’s role is fundamental in driving the decarbonisation of the Group’s operations and services in line with its Science Based Target initiative commitments to reduce CO² emissions by 5% year-on-year to achieve Net Zero status by 2040
  • Social Value – Holly and the existing team will be responsible for expanding on the excellent work they have achieved to date to drive greater societal benefit into Keltbray’s customers’ organisations and the communities that host them
  • Economic Sustainability – the new function will ensure the Group’s actions in this space deliver the bottom-line benefits to Keltbray that support wider economic multipliers in areas like jobs, services, taxable income and investment

Holly will also continue her involvement with the Inclusion Committee, working with Group Inclusion Manager, Nina Fairfowl, to drive improvements in equality, diversity and inclusion within Keltbray.

She will also retain responsibility for the KML occupational health team, and will continue to play a leading role in employee wellbeing, working with Phil Price and the safety, health and environmental leadership team.

Darren James, Keltbray’s Chief Executive Officer, commented on the appointment: “Holly’s collaborative leadership approach will be instrumental in achieving our sustainability goals across the business, in line with our ambition to be a Net Zero company by 2040, and create greater social value that helps people and communities thrive. Holly brings a wealth of experience to the role, and her vast industry knowledge and leadership skills will be integral in driving forward the group’s sustainability agenda, ensuring that we reach our targets.”
