Keltbray Circular Economy Short Film Release: 16th October 2023

The week commencing the 16th October marks this year’s Circular Economy Week hosted by ReLondon.

Aimed at building awareness around the Circular ‘Economy’, to drive industry wide collaboration and the adoption of its principles, across the various sectors of our economy.

Keltbray are excited to be celebrating Circular Economy Week, kicking off the week with the release of our short film to showcase our commitment to circularity.

What is a circular economy?

“A circular economy is one in which stuff is kept in use for as long as possible, delivering the highest value it can, for as long as it can. So rather than making, using and then throwing stuff away (a linear system), a circular economy means looking at each of those stages for new ways of cycling materials and value back into the system – using materials and products again and again, in many different forms.” – ReLondon 2023

What is Circular Economy Week?

ReLondon is hosting its sixth circular economy showcase this 16-20 October 2023, in partnership with Visa.

#CEweek2023 involves a week of events highlighting how cities, businesses and governments are reducing carbon emissions by innovating to reduce the impact of our consumption of stuff on global heating.

What’s happening in #CEWeek2023?

From workshops to clothes swaps, panel discussions and an invitation only event hosted by Visa, ReLondon’s circular economy week is showing that a mass change in society is happening.

Throughout the week, Keltbray will show our support through a host of digital content, panel discussions, thought leadership articles and more.

Keltbray’s own Group Sustainability Director Holly Price will be delivering an exciting panel discussion, alongside other industry professionals.

Hosted by @Ramboll, the panel, titled Reform to reuse: Investing in circular economy to achieve low carbon buildings will aim to deliver insights into the circular economy and managing carbon within construction.

Taking place on Wednesday 18 October, 8:30am – 10:30am at the Tate Modern London.

The agenda is as follows:

  • 8:30am – Breakfast and networking
  • 9am – Panel discussion
  • 10am – Networking
