Esher 16 November 2017: Keltbray Group won this year’s ‘Best In-House Recruitment Team’ at the 2017 Construction News Investing in Talent Awards. This is the second consecutive year the company has won this award.
Keltbray has its own recruitment function internally through Qualified Recruitment and externally through the agency, Konstructive Recruitment. This model, which was developed two years ago has reduced the Group’s spend and dependency on agency labour; thus increasing profitability and facilitating a more efficient recruitment process across Keltbray.
To win the award, Keltbray beat contenders, such as Careys, Carillion and McGoff, who were highly commended.
Keltbray’s recruitment team is led by Head of Recruitment Neil Patterson who set up this function after joining from a recruitment agency. It now boasts seven members of staff who work full-time to place candidates internally and externally. “It’s great for Keltbray to have been recognised two years in a row,” says Neil. “As well having industry acknowledgment for the team, it helps us attract the best candidates and lead the way in the industry.”
