Louise is Major Projects Director in Keltbray’s Highways division, she is currently working on two of the biggest projects in the divisions’ history. The two projects, both high profile National Highways schemes, are the £50m M621 Junction Improvement Scheme and £75m A66 Scheme. Louise also works closely with the Managing Director of Highways, Vip Gandhi, developing the Business Plan and is a key figure in setting out the strategic direction for the division.

Quantity Surveyor
Rajaul Haque is an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for Keltbray based in the Crewe office. He has been with Keltbray for 10 and a half years. As part of Raj’s role he does cost management, which involves preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and price submissions. He’s also involved in valuing completed work and arranging payment.

My job can be challenging and involves problem solving which is something that I enjoy. At Keltbray, everybody is approachable and available to help when required. Site Operative
Joanna Walsh is a Site Operative for Keltbray who came to the business having had a difficult start in her career. Having left education at fifteen, she found a facilities maintenance job with OCS which she enjoyed. Joanna then started building up her experience by working in a clothes shop and a Travelodge, and was eventually sent by the Job Centre to the agency Good People, who introduced Joanna to Keltbray. She started her induction the very next day.

Assistant Project Manager
Andrew Lohmann joined Keltbray in June 2015 after dropping out of university. He started as a labourer on site at Battersea power station and then progressed onto a demolition apprenticeship at London Bridge station. After he completed the apprenticeship, Andrew started a Trainee Assistant Project Manager role working on HS2 with Keltbray. Now Andrew is working as an Assistant Project Manager, he has finished a HNC and is working towards a BEng in Civil Engineering part time.

Senior Social Sustainability Partner
Lloyd Graham is Senior Social Sustainability Partner at Keltbray, he was previously Community Engagement Manager, working across our business to deliver our commitment to the communities in which we work through Social Value, working specifically on our s106 commitments. Lloyd has worked for Keltbray for almost 5 years, beginning as a Community Engagement Coordinator, and excelling to management level. Lloyd has extensive experience of working both in local authority and third sector organisations to ultimately improve the outcomes for the communities in which he has worked. Lloyd’s previous work as a Gang Coordinator for Lambeth council has enabled him to have a greater understanding of some of the hardest to reach individuals.

Nicola Flanagan is an Assistant Project Manager for Keltbray D&C. Nicola came to Keltbray having studied beauty at college and worked in hospitality.

Group Sustainability Coordinator
Matteo Di Giacomo is Group Sustainability Coordinator at Keltbray, he joined the business as a Surveying Administrator. Matteo has a background in Accountancy and Economics. Before joining Keltbray, Matteo was a manager in a different industry so was totally new to construction.
Matteo Di Giacomo, Group Sustainability Coordinator“This didn’t stop me and I’m really enjoying it. I’m currently working as the Site Administrator for our 20 Ropemaker Street project. Prior to this I worked on the Battersea Power Station Project, and I am still in touch with the QS whenever they need me. At the end of my apprenticeship I aspire to be fully operational as a business admin and one day to move on towards management for the commercial section. Working and studying at the same time is so rewarding. Day by day you learn real skills in a real workplace and I believe this is a life experience that hardly any schools deliver.”
Senior Engineer
Olateju Kuye is a Senior Engineer at Wentworth House Partnership, part of Keltbray Group, designing temporary works that enable the construction of permanent works. Olateju chose the job as her dad was also an engineer and her role model as a child, so she always wanted a career like his. She chose temporary works in particular because of the dynamic nature of the job.

Jamie Parkes is Group Social Sustainability Manager at Keltbray, he previously held the role of Social Value Manager, working across our business to support the communities in which we work through partnering with a wide range of organisations and charities. He has been at Keltbray for 4 years.

My background before Keltbray was working for ex-offender organisations and helping them gain employment. During this time, I worked with Keltbray on a few programmes and was always impressed by their commitment to supporting diversity. Now I am lucky enough to be on the other side as Group Social Sustainability Manager and be able to work with a number of organisations and charities that support a wide range of people.
Social Value was a relatively new term when I started but has grown in significance, bringing its challenges along the way. I look forward to continuing to drive Social Sustainability.”
