As part of the pre-construction advice and approvals stage, Keltbray can take responsibility for obtaining any required approvals, or ensuring that any relevant conditions are discharged efficiently and effectively. This relates to, but is not limited to, party walls, utilities diversions, rail possessions, heritage protection/salvage, archaeology, planning conditions, hazardous material identification, local authority licences/notices and environmental permits.
In terms of site enabling works, Keltbray provides a number of services, including site establishment including site security, logistics solutions, investigations and surveys, hazardous material removal, remediation, site clearance, archaeological and heritage attendance, utilities isolations and diversions and site clearance. These can be delivered as one-off provisions, or as part of an integrated service offering that provides clients with a confident and assured start to a project.
Another key project enabling service that Keltbray can provide is assisting with client Section 106 Planning Obligations. Increasingly these involve more challenging deliverables that address the environmental, economic, cultural and social impacts of a development as Local Authorities seek better value for their local communities. Both Keltbray and our in-house training division have extensive proven experience in successfully delivering these more challenging aspects of Section 106 Planning Obligations such as job brokerage strategies, training and the like.
The various enabling works we provide can also be incorporated with our demolition, groundworks and piling services to provide an integrated package solution; offering potential significant programme and cost benefits to a project.
