Course Overview
Personal Track Safety training aims to instruct learners on correctly determining their responsibilities and duties when working on or near the line.
Working Near or Adjacent to DC Conductor Rails (DCCR) provides learners with the knowledge required to safely carry out their duties in DC electrified areas in line with current Network Rail standards.

Working Near or Adjacent to DC Conductor Rails (PTS DCCR).
The Personal Track Safety course is comprised of two components. There is an e-learning training package followed by a practical training day.
Successful completion of the e-learning assessment is required prior to attendance on the practical training day.
Learners are required to complete a Verification exercise at the beginning of the course to ensure they have the required level of knowledge to continue with the course
Who Should Attend?
Learners must be a minimum age of 16
Meet the medical requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 Competence Specific Medical Requirements
Have a good level of literacy to meet Entry Qualifications (It is permitted for trainers to appoint a scribe for learners in the Knowledge Assessments to support those who have difficulty with reading/writing)
Meet the requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051 (Drugs & Alcohol)
Learners must have completed and passed the E-Learning training and assessment prior to attendance
Must have sufficient command of English language
