Our History

Founded in 1976, Keltbray has grown from a specialist ground engineering and demolition contractor serving London’s commercial development market into the UK's leading specialist construction engineering solutions provider. Today, we operate across highly complex and regulated construction environments, delivering expertise to commercial property, social infrastructure and major civil engineering markets throughout the UK. 

Our story is one of continual evolution, driven by technical excellence, innovation and a commitment to meeting the changing needs of our clients. What began as a focused specialist contractor has developed into a business with a diverse portfolio of capabilities, a strong national presence and a clear strategy for sustainable growth. 

A significant chapter in our journey began in 1989 when Brendan Kerr joined Keltbray. After becoming sole equity owner and Chief Executive Officer in 2003, Brendan led a period of substantial growth and transformation, expanding the Group's capabilities through business development and strategic acquisitions. Under his leadership, Keltbray established itself as one of the UK's most respected specialist engineering businesses, building a reputation for technical leadership, innovation, safety and quality. 

Today, nearly 50 years since our founding, Keltbray is a multi-million-pound business operating across the UK. Our success has been built on long-term relationships, exceptional customer service and a unique self-delivery model that enables us to maintain control, consistency and quality across every stage of project delivery.
