Keltbray Leadership Programme

Delivered in partnership with Ulster University Business School (UUBS), a leading centre for entrepreneurial education, research and impact.

Our bespoke ‘Mini MBA’ was developed in partnership with Ulster University Business School to equip our leaders with the knowledge and mindset needed to lead with impact in an increasingly complex and fast-paced environment.

Designed for leaders ready to take the next step, participants benefit from a blend of academic learning, practical application and leadership coaching.

Through immersive workshops, peer collaboration and individual mentoring, they develop strategic, financial and people leadership capabilities, building the confidence and skills needed to advance their careers and drive meaningful change across Keltbray.

Programme overview

  • Discovering and using your leadership voice

    This interactive workshop uses the 5 Voices framework to help participants understand their leadership style, strengths, challenges, and impact on others, especially under pressure.

  • Academic module: self-understanding

    Explore your leadership style, values and emotional intelligence, and gain insight into how self-awareness drives better decision-making and relationships.

  • Academic module: organisation

    Understand how to design adaptable, future-focused organisations, and learn principles of strategic alignment, structure and operational effectiveness.

  • Relational dynamics and influence

    Using the 5 Voices framework, participants explore how personalities build trust, strengthen relationships and increase team influence. The session introduces practical tools to improve collaboration and clarity.

  • Academic module: people leadership

    Enhance your ability to lead, motivate and develop individuals and teams. Explore coaching, performance management and creating a culture of accountability.

  • Trust, integrity and sustainably leading teams

    Drawing on the work of Patrick Lencioni, this session explores trust, psychological safety and high-performing teams. Participants also discover the Five Gears model and how to balance energy, productivity and recovery to lead more effectively.

  • Academic module: financial strategy and insight

    Build confidence in financial analysis and strategic decision-making, and understand key financial statements, drivers and tools for business planning.

  • Academic module: strategy, change and innovation

    Explore how to lead innovation and manage strategic change effectively, and develop the tools to futureproof your organisation and navigate complexity.

  • Communicating for change and influence

    Drawing on the work of Vinh Giang, this session helps participants communicate effectively and influence others. Through workshops, live scenarios and simulations, participants build confidence and resilience in challenging situations.

  • Leadership coaching conversation

    Online coaching sessions with executive coaches provide personalised insight, challenge and guidance. These sessions help participants reflect on learning, apply it in practice and accelerate their development.

  • Academic assignments and final presentation

    Enables participants to apply and evidence learning throughout the programme. Following each module, participants complete assignments before presenting key learning to Board members and University Directors.

  • Post-programme leadership impact review

    Enables participants to demonstrate learning through reflective logs and self-assessments. The programme concludes with a comparison of pre- and post-programme results, evidencing individual growth and impact.
