Keltbray is delivering the formwork, reinforcement and concrete works for the Balsall Common, Marsh Farm and River Blythe Viaducts as part of the HS2 SL2B programme in Warwickshire.

Together, the three structures comprise more than 1 kilometre of viaduct construction, forming a critical section of the UK's new high-speed railway. A key element of the works is the construction of 39 reinforced concrete piers, delivered using bespoke in-house formwork solutions.

Drawing on its integrated civil engineering capabilities, Keltbray has developed innovative construction methodologies to support the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of these major HS2 structures.

  • Bespoke formwork systems developed for efficient delivery:
    Custom-designed formwork ranging from 4m to 9m in height was engineered to achieve architectural finishes while maintaining programme certainty and construction efficiency.
  • Supporting one of Europe's largest infrastructure programmes:
    The structures form a critical section of the HS2 network, carrying the railway across floodplains, watercourses and surrounding landscapes.
