Tom Smith

Tom brings over 30 years of experience delivering complex construction programmes across the UK and Europe, with more than a decade focused on the data centre sector. He has a strong track record in the delivery of large-scale facilities for hyperscale and colocation clients, from individual assets through to multi-facility campus developments.

Appointed Group Commercial Director for Keltbray in May 2026, Tom is responsible for driving strategic growth and operational excellence across the Group, building on his leadership of the Data Centres sector.

Starting his career as a trainee Quantity Surveyor, Tom progressed through senior commercial and operational roles across a range of organisations. In 2015, he was appointed Commercial and Operations Director at ISG Engineering, where he played a key role in scaling the business unit to over £800 million within five years, supporting a period of rapid expansion aligned to growing demand within the data centre market.

Over the past decade, Tom has led the delivery of data centre projects ranging from 5 MW to 40 MW, as well as large multi-building campus schemes across the UK, Netherlands, Nordics, Belgium and Ireland. Known for his collaborative, hands-on leadership style and decisive approach, Tom is highly regarded for his ability to manage complexity and respond effectively to the fast-paced demands of data centre delivery.
