HS2 Align JV C1 Shafts

Keltbray delivered a major civil engineering package across five intervention shafts supporting the HS2 Chiltern Tunnel, providing critical infrastructure required for the operation, maintenance and safety of the UK's new high-speed railway.

Working for Align JV, the scope involved the construction of substantial reinforced concrete structures both above and below ground, including shaft bases, tunnel interface structures, access facilities and associated infrastructure. Delivered at multiple locations along the tunnel route, the works formed a key part of the infrastructure supporting one of the most significant rail projects ever undertaken in the UK.

Combining specialist engineering expertise with large-scale construction capabilities, Keltbray successfully delivered these complex infrastructure assets within a challenging and highly regulated environment.
